Dear Columbus Academy Parents,

We hope you and your family are doing well. It is hard to believe the end of the school year is upon us. We miss seeing everyone on campus and partaking in spring activities, but we commend the school on continuing to engage our students in learning and connecting with each other.

As PACA winds down the school year, we want to thank our outgoing PACA Co-Presidents, Melissa Kass and Greg Gorospe, for their incredible leadership and commitment. Melissa and Greg did a tremendous job during a challenging year, all while strengthening the parent/guardian community and ensuring that PACA continues to work closely with CA faculty and staff. Thank you, Melissa and Greg! We will strive to carry on your legacy.

Thank you also to the many volunteers who gave their time this year to the school as room/grade parents, team parents, snack distributors, classroom helpers, service project volunteers, etc. Class events, milestones, field trips, and important activities could not have happened without each of you. We truly appreciate your dedication and time.

As we transition into our new roles as PACA Co-Presidents, you will hear from us over the latter part of the summer as the new school year gears up. In the meantime, we have two brief, yet important updates:

2020-21 PACA Leadership

We are thrilled to announce the wonderful group of parents/guardians who have accepted a leadership role with PACA for the 2020-21 academic year. Please join us in congratulating this dedicated team! We are excited to begin working with all of them.

Keep in mind that we are always in need of volunteers, so stay tuned on ways to do so. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, give back to the school, and catch a glimpse of your child(ren) at school (whether they like it or not!).

We hope to see you at a “drive-thru” event at the school in the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions about PACA, feel free to reach out. We are crossing our fingers that we can have our first PACA Parent Forum of the year at school in the fall!

Enjoy the summer,
