(US9) PACA 9th Grade News 9/10/2019

Hello Parents/Guardians of our amazing freshman class of 2023!
We, Denise Bruggeman (Amelia ’21 & Ethan ’23) & Ronda Hobart (Charlie ’23) are excited to be your class parents this year!

Freshman year is one of many new experiences, opportunities and challenges for our kids and for us, too. So, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

Most communication will come from the bi-weekly update sent by the US grade parents or directly from the Upper School – Cory Izokaitis and the US team.

This link takes you to the PACA Upper School page – all prior emails can be found here. This is a great place to go for reminders about upcoming events -there is also a link for 9th grade specific topics as well.

Your son/daughter gets updates on important school happenings at assembly (every Monday) and reminders in advisory. They should be checking their school email for communications from teachers and student counsel.

Other 9th grade items:
Coffee with Cory – We saw many of you at the 9th grade coffee with Cory and the US team. A recap from that morning can be found here.

Parent party – Ronda and I will be planning a get together for 9th grade parents. If you are interested in hosting or have ideas about a fun new venue – let us know!

Upcoming Key dates:
Tuesday, September 10th: Drop/Add period ends for students
Thursday, September 12th, 7pm: US Sleep Out.
Sunday, September 15th: Hispanic Heritage Month begins
Friday, September 20th, 5-7:30pm: Charlie David Dinner.
Saturday, September 21st, 10am: Community Day at CA. Details are here.
Saturday, September 21st, 11:30am: HOLA Tailgate at boys home soccer game.
