Class of 2021 Parent News

Hello Parents/ Guardians of our fabulous class of 2021 – Juniors!! Connie Tuckerman and I ( sisters, and mothers of Arie Tuckerman and Jack Madison) are thrilled to be your class parents this year.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions throughout the year and we will do our best to get you the answers!

For your convenience, here is a link to the junior speech schedule that was sent by Cory Izokaitis during the summer.

We have also included a couple of important date reminders for your calendar, you should have received from other Upper School-wide emails:

Tuesday, September 3rd, 7pm: Upper School Back to School Night. Follow a sampling of your students schedule. Meet the teachers. Hear about class expectation. ** For those with children in multiple divisions-FYI-Back to School Night for LS is 8/29 and MS is 9/4

Thursday, September 5th, 8am: 11th Grade Coffee with Cory-Dining Hall

Future Key September Dates:

Tuesday, September 10th: Drop/Add period ends for students

Friday, September 13th: Upper School Service Day and Club Fair. You should have received an email from your students advisor with details of this day.

Friday, September 20th: Charlie David Dinner. Save the date for the 37th annual Charlie David Dinner taking place in the dining hall on Friday, September 20th from 5:00p – 7:30p prior to the varsity home football game. You’ll soon receive additional details in the mail and via email, including how to purchase sponsorships and/or tickets to the dinner. This is CA’s only athletic program fundraiser of the year and it’s a family-friendly event for all ages. We look forward to seeing you there in your Viking attire!

Saturday, September 21st, 11:30am: HOLA Tailgate at boys home soccer game

Monday, September 30th, Fall Holiday – No School

• If you haven’t added the My Backpack App to your phone, do so.
It is great for checking your kid’s schedule for appointments,
remembering what letter day it is, and a quick access to the
directory when trying to reach someone from school.
• Plan to visit the Viking Corner for new spirit wear or shop online!
• Interested in getting involved in parent activities? There are several volunteer opportunities right now!
• And don’t forget all this and more can always be found on 11th Grade and the Upper School websites!
