The PACA Parent Ed team will be screening two different documentaries in the dining hall: Miss Representation
and The Mask You Live In
Both focus on harmful cultural messaging that targets boys and girls from very young ages and can be obstacles to “flourishing.” Miss Representation focuses on girls and The Mask You Live In focuses on boys. They will be shown at the same time on separate sides of the room. Q and A will follow. There will be movie style snacks and beverages. CASE will be provided and will open at 6:30pm. The screenings will begin at 7pm.
In addition to the PACA event, the Alumni and Admissions offices will be screening No Small Matter in Schoedinger Theater. It is a documentary produced by an Academy graduate. For information on all of these documentaries, please click on the following links:
From the Development Office:
If you haven’t already participated in the Annual Fund this school year, please consider making your gift before December 31.First-semester gifts and pledges are especially helpful, as they allow the school to plan for a successful year. December 31 is also the last day to make a tax-deductible donation in tax year 2019. You may follow these links to donate online or learn more. Please contact Erich Hunker or Emily Campbell if you have any questions about how to support the school. Many thanks to those who have already participated.
