PACA Parent Forum feat. Jen Conti, Director of Internships:
Come listen to what the program is about, how it has evolved and what upcoming opportunities are available to our students this summer. Along with Jen, we will hear a first hand account from a student who participated in the program this summer.

Junior College Night:
Junior College Night for Class of 2021 students and parents will be on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:00 p.m. in the dining hall. This is the only college counseling program exclusively focused on Grade 11 students and parents all year. The presentation will provide a road map for the next 18 months as well as demystify the college admission process. Please come and gain a better understanding of what to expect from college counseling at Columbus Academy.

Parent Education Thursdays:
PACA is proud to announce its first of three Parent Education evening programs for the 2019-2020 year.

Please join us in the Dining Hall on Thursday November 21st at 630pm for “Flourishing, Real Time” with Dr Suzanne Ritter and Michelle Schroeder-Lowery. As you may have heard, Suzanne and Michelle have been working on integrating their training in Positive Psychology within the faculty and staff, we are excited to have them share practical tools and experiences for integrating into our parent experience at CA. A light supper will be available.
Details and additional resources are available here.

Please RSVP to cavikingparents by November 15. Day care is available, please indicate how many and ages of your children needing care and include “Flourish” in the subject line.

Viking Corner is updating our list of volunteers– this is an easy way to support our students and fellow parents by committing as much or little time as you can spare. You can either sign up here directly or reach out to Jennifer Lifer (jenborucki@yahoo.com) if you have questions about the positions (all are easy and training is provided). No retail experience required 🙂
