6th Grade 

Teacher Dinners. Every year, parents help provide dinner for the 6th grade teachers and their families when they return to school on Friday afternoon after the Camp Willson field trip. We take their order and pay for it through parent donations. If you are able and willing, please send in $10 via this link www.paypal.me/JasonLichten, check payable to Jason Lichten, or cash (sent to school with your child to his/her advisor or to Mrs. Jackson). Thank you!

Oct 2 Field Trip Permission slips due.

Oct 3 – ALL PACA Parent Forum – Dining Room (8am) – Everything you ever wanted to know about Sports at CA! Click here for details. Or just join us! A lite breakfast will be served.

Oct 12 – 5pm – Charlie David Dinner*  (It’s a sporty month) and the home football game after!

Oct 22, 25 or 26 – Parent / Teacher Conferences – Look for a note from Mr. Arnold soon. No school 10/26.

What you need to know : This event (for 36 years running) raises money for CA sports programs. Includes an informal dinner, auction and good times in the dining hall before cheering on the football team at the home game.
What we encourage you to do now: Decide to attend, mark your calendar for October 12th. Buy a ticket here or sponsorship here. And if you have a silent auction item (suggested list here), do consider making a donation.
What you need to bring to the event: Yourselves and some additional buying power to bid on many many silent auction items. Tickets are available at the door, too, but we love to know in advance if you are coming.

Kids4Kids 

Getting a head start for this important campus-wide service project  – look for more on this in the next digest. But here’s the sign up link for volunteers for the Kids4Kids Drive which runs October 29 – November 4.

We take their order and pay for it through parent donations. For snacks, please use this sign up genius link to sign up to bring in a specific snack item. For dinner, we take the teacher orders and pay for them through parent donations. If you are able and willing, your advisory parent will be reaching out to collect $5 from you to contribute to the meals.
