Hello fellow Middle School parents and caregivers! Two items for you today:
1. Please rsvp by this Friday the 15th for the Middle School Tailgate which be held October 22 here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B45A4A82DA6F85-middle. This will help us with the planning for food etc. We hope you can make it and are looking forward to a wonderful evening together. Go Vikes!
2. We have highlighted below some dates and details for our grades that come up throughout the year, in the hopes that we can cut back on multiple requests for food or snacks as all of our schedules fill up. Our goal with this email is to help any parents/caregivers who have limited time to prepare, purchase, and deliver food for class needs and field trips, by offering them a monetary option to alleviate demands on their schedules. A great example of our use of contributions will be meals for chaperones of returning class trips in the Spring. We like to thank the faculty by purchasing their family’s dinner for their return night home post field trip. They are very appreciative every year!
Please feel free to send us any questions or feedback, we are always happy to add more detail, but may leave some of it out here for brevity’s sake. At the end of the list, we have an option if you would like to contribute monetarily instead of with food/beverages. Then Julie, Katy, and Teresa will purchase and deliver the food needs to each event when needed. Any leftover funds will be used within the middle school by the end of the year or roll over to follow the class to the next year. If you would rather contribute snacks/drinks when the given times arise, we welcome and appreciate those contributions as well.
