I hope everyone enjoyed a restful fall break. With the 8th grade off to Washington, D.C. and 6th grade at Camp Kern, it’s pretty quiet around the middle school. Here are some upcoming events and reminders. As always, please reach out with questions.

Please consider bringing in gently used clothing, toys, books, and bedding.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL AUDITIONS

Tuesday, November 1, 3:30 – 6:00pm- Auditions signup is on Ms. Eads’ bulletin board starting on October 17.
Wednesday, November 2, 3:30 – 5:00pm – Call backs by invitation only
Friday, November 4 – Cast list posted
WINTER SPORT SIGN-UP
Middle School winter sports include boys and girls basketball, co-ed swimming and co-ed wrestling. All sports begin on Monday, October 31 with the exception of wrestling which will begin on November 11.

10/31 HALLOWEEN
Students are invited to wear a costume (or dress down) to school on Monday, October 31st. As it is a school day, please keep in mind that the costume should not inhibit anyone’s learning and should be respectful of all people and cultures. No blood or gore. If your child elects to wear dress down, please remember clothes should be free of holes.
11/4 SCHOOL DANCES
6th Grade at Columbus School for Girls 7-9pm
7th / 8th Grade at Wellington 730-930pm
We will be getting further details on drop-off / pick-up soon and will pass those along. Please plan to get your child promptly at 9/930 (depending on grade)!
