We welcome you to the start of the 2020-2021 Columbus Academy School Year! While unconventional indeed, the first week was by all measures a success. Rest assured, our administration and faculty are continually making necessary adjustments to facilitate improvements and streamline processes, as able. We are the Lower School Leadership team of PACA. We will help to communicate issues and opportunities raised by the parent community to the LS administration and communicate important information related to PACA and the LS from the administration. If you are new to the school and are unfamiliar with PACA, we are your “PTA.” We encourage you to visit and navigate the PACA website to become familiar with the various resources and information available (www.vikingparents.org).
As we move forward into this “new normal” at school, we will do our best to provide relevant communication regarding schedule or protocol changes, as well as community announcements. We will aim to send emails every other Sunday and additional prompt announcements, if required.
In addition, you will hear grade-specific information from our outstanding Lower School Leadership Team.
All communications will be available on the PACA website (www.vikingparents.org). No need to save and search later. PACA has also added a FAQ section (https://www.vikingparents.org/paca-pandemic-faqs/) where you can read the answers to previously submitted questions and ask your own.

From the Charlie David Dinner Committee: We’re very grateful that our 800+ student-athletes can play this year! Although CA’s annual athletic fundraiser, the Charlie David Dinner, will take place virtually this year, our student-athletes still need our support. The committee is working hard to create a stellar silent auction that will go live in early October. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, if you have a silent auction item to offer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by September 20th, 2020, with item details and value. 1. In Store. We are located in the Dining Hall!Thursdays after school: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
You must sign up in advance for a 20 minute slot to shop in store (4 people max per time slot). Click here for the sign up link.
Please pick up your child from carpool, park and then come in at your scheduled time.
Please note that you will not be able to go to any other areas of the school, only the Viking Corner.
2. Shop Online with Curbside Pick-up @ vikingcorner.org
Thursdays after school: 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Orders placed by Wednesdays at noon will be ready for pick-up on Thursdays between 3:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
You may park in the MS/US circle (only after carpool is finished) or the lot near the MS/US basketball courts, and call the store at 614-509-2557. We will bring your order to you!
You may not pick up items while carpool pickup is in progress.
You do not need to sign up for a time slot for curbside pick-up.
