Columbus Academy’s (PACA-supported) annual Lower School Ice-Cream Social took place on Monday, August 22nd, from 4–6 p.m. Families met with faculty and staff. Teachers met with families in their classrooms, and students met their new classmates and reconnected with old friends.
Families gathered in the bus circle (near Acadamey Hall) and indulged in ice cream treats and photo ops.
Our parent-run Viking Corner store was there with a Sidewalk Sale, and our Clothing Exchange Closet was open too.
Did you not seize the opportunity and drop by the Sidewalk Sale? Shop online with Viking Corner and check out their quarterly volunteer sign-ups. Volunteering at the Viking Corner store is a great way to meet other parents and help support the school.
PACA organizes a Lower School End-of-Year Carnival on the last day of school. Immediately following the end of the Closing Ceremony for Grades PreK-4. This event is not a school-funded event, nor is it a fundraiser. We make every effort to break even on the investment we make with Games2U and other vendors through a small fee per food item and a raffle.
Check back here for more information on how to get involved and volunteer as the end of the school year nears.
