The Kids 4 Kids Service drive is in full swing! Have you been to the Athletic Building lobby?!?!? It is so heartening to see our community working together to help our fellow Columbus families in need. Please see below for more details about how you can pitch in and make contributions of clothing, food, toys, and your time.
AND DON’T FORGET…there is no school Monday, November 5 (Professional Development Day). My kids will be raking leaves! I hear it builds character.

Parent Coffee on Thursday: Please Join Us
On Thursday morning (November 8) we will meet from 8:30-9:30 am on the Fireside of the Dining Hall. The November Parent Coffee topic is “Encouraging a Growth Mindset for Children” and will be facilitated by Mrs. Michelle Schroeder and Mr. Shaun Ditty. Please join us!

Parent Book Club
We will meet on Wednesday, November 14 from 8:30-9:30 in the Fireside Room of the Dining Hall. It is called The Conscious Parent by Dr. Shefali Tsabary. Here is some information about the book as well as a TED Talk she gave about it. I look forward to our conversation.

KIDS 4 KIDS SERVICE DRIVE (through November 8):
Kids 4 Kids is in full swing. Donations have started to trickle in, but we’d love to fill our shelves for all the classes and advisories shopping next week for their sponsored families. The long weekend ahead is a great opportunity to gather your donations! Thank you to everyone who has already donated.
In addition to donations (see details below as well as on the PACA website), please consider our Fill-A-Wish items, especially if you have kids in a classroom not sponsoring one of the 32 families. We still have a few volunteer slots open, so if you have an hour or two to help out, we’d love to see you there.
Donations accepted through November 8th:
- Children’s fall/winter clothing
- Toys, books, bikes
- Coats, all sizes
- Blankets and bedding

PARENT’S DAY OUT (Saturday, November 17):
Five hours for your CA student to enjoy with their friends and our caring and fun CASE staff…and FIVE HOURS FOR YOU TO ENJOY…DOING WHATEVER! $30 per child. Register through the ASA brochure or call the Special Programs Office at 614-509-2267.
