The Charlie David Dinner (CDD) is a Columbus Academy tradition! This annual event is named in honor of a dedicated parent who, 40+ years ago, organized and hosted a pre-game chicken dinner for Academy students and parents during the football season.
The event has grown throughout the years and continues to be one that everyone in the Academy community — whether parent/guardian, faculty/staff, student, or extended family — can participate in and ENJOY.
Today, this “chicken dinner” is the cornerstone of financial support for ALL Columbus Academy athletic programs. The evening includes a meal, silent auction, raffle ticket sales, and fun activities for kids organized by CA Upper School students.
Charlie David Dinner staple, City BBQ, and Broke Johnny Food Truck also return this year.
