April is a BUSY month here at Columbius Academy. The end of the 2022/23 school year is near! Here are reminders for the rest of April.

ALL DAY FOR CA!!!
Are you ready to show your CA spirit? Mark your calendars for All Day 4 CA – when Vikings
everywhere come together to celebrate and support our school. This year’s 25-hour online
giving event will kick off on April 20 th at 10:00 a.m. with an “All In” head-to-toe spiritwear day
and matching funds to encourage everyone to join in! Proceeds benefit the 2022-23 Annual
Fund, which allows the school to invest in important faculty and student programs that
enrich every student’s Academy experience. (Check out last year’s video to see examples of our gifts at work!)
All students are encouraged to deck themselves out from top to bottom with their CA spirit wear. Maroon and Grey items may be worn in lieu of the CA logo apparel as long as there isn’t any other logo on them. No jeans or Yoga pants! GO VIKES!

Sunday, April 30 Family Holi Event from 1-3pm. Hindu festival of colors, celebrating the arrival of spring and triumph of good over evil but mostly to get together and have fun! More information to follow in the next few weeks.
SAVE THE DATE
Get ready to celebrate our CA Faculty and Staff. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8-12.Save the Date for Sunday, May 7! Help make signs and ‘chalk the walk’ for our fabulous teachers and staff. Grab your supplies – sidewalk chalk, poster board, markers, and paint – and join us in the Lower School orchestra circle on Sunday, May 7 from 3-5 pm. In case of rain, we will meet in the Crane Outdoor Learning Center.
Volunteering for 2023-2024
Please consider volunteering next year. PACA is always looking for new volunteers and it’s a wonderful way to be informed, get to know the faculty and staff, meet new parents, share ideas, and most importantly be involved at your kids school. It’s a fun and easy way to stay connected.
