Volunteering for 2023-2024
Please consider volunteering next year. PACA is always looking for new volunteers and it’s a wonderful way to be informed, get to know the faculty and staff, meet new parents, share ideas, and most importantly be involved at your kids school. It’s a fun and easy way to stay connected.
The nomination process for positions for the 2023-24 school year is open. Use pacapresidents.
February 26th MOSAIC Celebrate the African Arts 1:00pm in the CA dining hall with special guest Dr. John Aden. And featuring a fashion show celebrating the fabric and patterns of the continent. Please RSVP February 27th Conference sign-ups open up at 7:00pm February 28th US Band and Choir concert7:00pm March 1st
CPR Certification Three hour CPR certification class for Columbus Academy Parents. 6:00- 9:00pm in the Barton Room. RSVP as soon as possible by emailing nurse@columbusacademy.org. This class is limited to the first 20 registrants. Event fees per person are being covered by PACA. Two year certification card is $15, if desired. March 2nd Jazz concert 7:00pm March 15-17th Upper School Conferences March 16th Noon Dismissal March 17th No School March 20-31st Spring Break April 20th and 21st ALL DAY FOR CA April 30th Family Holi Event from 1-3pm. Hindu festival of colors, celebrating the arrival of spring and triumph of good over evil but mostly to get together and have fun! More information to follow in the next few weeks.
School Rule Reminders
-Please sign out your child on My School Pass if they are sick, arriving late or leaving early.
-I know it seems obvious but please remind your child that drinking, vaping and drugs are prohibited on school campus.
-Cell phones are prohibited in school restrooms and locker rooms.
