Dear 8th Grade Families,

We hope that this note finds you well. We cannot believe that in a few short weeks, our Class of 2024 students will be transitioning from Middle School to Upper School. We are writing to share with you what we know thus far about this year’s closing and celebration of their wonderful accomplishment.

Video Ceremony, May 28th (time to be confirmed by Mr. Arnold)

There will be a recorded ceremony to announce each graduate’s name present that student’s school photo. If you would prefer that the video presentation uses a different image, please forward to Mr. Arnold ASAP, but no later than May 13. The alternate photo should be current, appropriate for school and include the student’s name in the file name. This pre-recorded event will be shared on May 28th and be available to download for subsequent viewing.

Drive by Celebration, May 28th (time to be confirmed by Mr. Arnold)

Mr. Arnold is planning to have a drive by celebration on May 28th, the time of day is yet to be determined. One vehicle per family will be permitted to drive through the bus circle and each student will receive their certificate and a bag with a Class of 2024 t-shirt and a sweet treat. More detailed instructions will be sent in the next day or two. Please be advised that social distancing and safety guidelines wil be observed.

Class of 2024 t-shirts

Robban Fleege once again has shared his amazing talent with the class of 2024 and designed an awesome t-shirt to commemorate the completion of Middle School (please see below for mock-up of the design using the fifth grade list of names for placement only.) Your generous support of the Class of 2024 and PACA has enabled each student to receive their t-shirt at no cost. Parents may purchase additional shirts for $20. Please use the following links to confirm your order by May 13th.

Please note that Mr. Arnold is working on the activities for each day that week. This includes a pick-up schedule for students to collect any personal items that might have been left in their lockers (school and/or PE.)
